Rev. Dr Jooseop Keum

Rev. Dr Jooseop Keum is the General Secretary of the Council for World Mission (CWM).

Keum is also a Distinguished Professor of World Christianity at the Yonsei University in South Korea and a Professor Extraordinarius at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

He has also served as Director of the Commission on World Mission and Evangelism (CWME) of the World Council of Churches (WCC) based in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2007 to 2018.

Rev. Dr Minwoo Oh

Rev. Dr Minwoo Oh is an ordained minister of Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK).

Before joining CWM, Minwoo has served with the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) to promote gender justice.

Rev. Daimon Mkandawire

Passionately dedicated to the intersection of faith and eco-justice, Rev. Daimon, an ordained minister in the United Church of Zambia, focuses on issues of ecology and economic justice and is committed to advocating for sustainable practices and equitable economic policies that uplift communities and preserve the environment.

His work involves engaging with member churches and other like-minded movements to promote ethical stewardship of resources and foster a just global economy.

Rev. Dr Graham McGeoch

Rev. Dr Graham McGeoch is the Mission Secretary-Discipleship, Spiritualities, and Dialogue.

He is based in the CWM London Office.

Rev. Dr Amelia Koh-Butler

As CWM’s Mission Secretary for Education, Formation, and Empowerment as well as the Regional Secretary for the Pacific, Rev. Dr Amelia Koh-Butler’s giftings as a missional integrator of worship, service, education, story-telling, and hospitality are on full display daily through her work.

Her love in music, creative arts, theology, and education has led her to complete intercultural doctoral research through Fuller (Pasadena) in Integrated Missiology, Ethnomusicology, and Fresh Expressions of Church.

Koh-Butler is an ordained minister from the Uniting Church in Australia.

Mrs Janet McConnell

Janet McConnell comes into office of Mission Secretary for Social Justice in January 2025 with a wealth of working experience with nonprofit and ecumenical organisations.

Prior to her CWM appointment, she has been serving the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) since December 2021 as a Deputy General Secretary, overseeing the promulgation of the church’s vision, mission, and goals.

McConnell has also served and contributed in varied roles related to areas such as human resources, mission, education, and youth ministries.
She has also served with the CWM as a former Trustee.

Rev. Dileep Kumar Kandula

Rev. Dileep Kumar Kandula is from the Church of South India (CSI), and currently serves as the CWM Mission Secretary for the General Secretariat (MS-GS), based in the Singapore Office.

Dileep’s primary responsibilities at the Assembly include assisting the General Secretary, Moderator, and Nominations Committee in facilitating Assembly Business, Governance, and Elections, supporting the Assembly Planning Group, and collaborating with the Local Organizing Committee to ensure adequate hospitality.

As clergy, Dileep holds a deep pastoral passion for the rights of Dalits, women, displaced people, and other oppressed communities.

Mr Soon Yew Sum

A chartered accountant with over 25 years of experience in the finance sector, Soon Yew is the Mission Secretary-Finance at CWM. He is based in Singapore.

After office hours, he immerses himself in outdoor activities and reading to recharge.

Rev. Dr Young-cheol Cheon

Rev. Dr Young-cheol Cheon is the CWM Mission Secretary-Communications of the CWM, based in the Singapore office since 2022.

He is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of Korea and holds a Ph. D in Media, Religion and Culture.

Cheon has more than 30 years of experience in ecumenical communication with the WACC, WCC and CWM.
